VERICOM to Participate in Creating TIA White Paper - Powering the Edge
May 12, 2021 - Vericom Global Solutions is honored to announce its Vice President (Datacenter Solution), A.S. Waqas, helped develop an Edge data center white paper, Powering the Edge, for the Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA). In addition to Vericom, industry-leaders Schneider Electric, Fujitsu Network, PCX Corporation, GDCE, and Chatsworth Products were also involved in the writing process.
Data volumes driven by the Internet of Things (IoT) and mobility are staggering. According to IDC’s Data Age 2025 report, 175 ZB data will be generated around the globe by 2025, with 50% of that data created by Edge devices.
